TAG/ATDC Entrepreneurs Society holds speaker series and roundtable discussions on topics relevant to startup companies. Events feature success stories ranging from early-stage companies finding funding to entrepreneurs bootstrapping their software companies into multi-million dollar organizations.
Brownbag Lunches
Brownbags are informal weekly gatherings of entrepreneurs and subject-matter experts. Topics cover startup specific business issues that range from angel investments to exit strategies. Startup Weekend
The Atlanta Startup Weekend is a unique opportunity for participants to take an idea, develop a product and launch a company…all in one weekend! At the Atlanta Startup Weekend in November 2007, members of the Atlanta entrepreneur community created Skribit, a user-generated suggestion application for blogs.
BarCamp
In 2007 ATDC sponsored the first ever BarCamp Atlanta, an ad hoc “un-conference” allowing people to learn and share in a relaxed setting. BarCamp participants can lead sessions, give demos or just share interesting things they are working on.
