As vice provost of Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute, Wayne manages Georgia Tech’s business outreach, commercialization and industrial relations activities. As a member of the team that organized ATDC in 1980, Wayne has been actively involved in the management and growth of what has become a nationally recognized technology incubator.

Charles has more than a decade of experience in successfully advising technology entrepreneurs. As a venture catalyst, Charles works closely with ATDC member companies in establishing and executing their fundraising strategies. He also manages the ATDC Seed Capital Fund.

Cindy provides startup advice to technology entrepreneurs and she connects entrepreneurs to capital, customers, partners and talent. Prior to working for ATDC, Cindy was director of business development for the ATDC graduate company, Blue Rock, Inc. After Blue Rock was acquired by WebGlide (later renamed RichFX), she became director of marketing.

Lee advises start-up and early stage companies regarding the growth and development of their organizations. Through the VentureLab program, Lee works with faculty at Georgia Tech to evaluate commercial opportunities and to pursue new company formation for those with significant commercial potential.

Over the past 10 years, Mary has advised hundreds of entrepreneurs and startup companies. During that time, she helped ATDC evolve into a dynamic community of both first-time and experienced entrepreneurs, including several who are back at ATDC with their second or third company. In addition to her venture catalyst role, Mary also manages programs for the CEOs of ATDC companies, including the CEO Roundtable and the Entrepreneur in Residence program.

As a venture catalyst Lance focuses on guiding companies interested in joining ATDC and works primarily with new media and Internet focused member companies. Prior to ATDC Lance ran a strategic consulting firm focused on emerging technology companies, was chief marketing officer at CipherTrust, and an executive vice president and general manager at EarthLink. Lance came to EarthLink from MindSpring a company that he joined in its infancy. As an executive vice president at MindSpring he ran the business development, marketing, product development, and product management units.

Melissa has eight years of professional experience in program management, event planning, and event marketing and three years of experience in marketing consulting and entrepreneurial ventures. As membership manager, Melissa is responsible for the marketing, promotion and delivery of all ATDC programs and services offered to member companies.
